PROGRAMME OF EMPOWERING SAMURDHI RECIPIENTS - 2019
There Are Two " Samurdhi Bank Socities" In Kiriella Divisional Secretary, In Which 3901 Families Are Samurdhi Recipients And 383 Recipients Are To Be Empowered.
For This Spesific Task, The Allocated Total Amount Of Fund For The Kiriella Division Is 1343250.00 Rupees. Out Of That, 591229.00 Rupees Have Been Allocated For 17 Recipients In An Agricultural Programme While 707021.00 Rupees Have Been Allocated To Develop 21 Industries In The Division. Another 4500.00 And 50000.00 Rupees Have Been Allocated Respectively For animal Husbandary And Enterpreneurship Training.
Following Project Have Been Planned According To The Industrial And Marketing Development Programme Considering The Enisting Socio- Economic Conditions.
Four Mobile Carts Are Provided For Four " Samurdhi Families" Which The Purpose Of Improving Their Sales Capacity. In Addition To That, Selling Fresh Milk, Selling Herbal Congee And Drinks, Selling Short- Eats, Selling Fruit And Vegitables, Selling Plastic Ornamental Items Are The Other Projects Under This Programme.
Major Attention Is Given Under This Programme To The Medium And Small Scale Industrialists And Marketiers. Further, Juki Machines, Refrigerators And Other Sets Of Instrument Under 42 Categaries Are Provided For Domestic Industries.
